Tennessee CLE Requirements
Attorney Requirements
Tennessee attorneys are required to complete 15 hours of CLE each year. At least 3 hours must be in the area of Ethics or Professionalism. Attorneys must earn the required MCLE credits by December 31st and report by March 31st each year.
Attorneys may carryover up to 15 hours of CLE credit to the following year.
Online Courses
Tennessee attorneys must earn at least 7 hours of CLE credit from live in-person events. Attorneys may earn up to 8 CLE credits through online on demand courses.
