Wyoming CLE Requirements

Attorney Requirements

Wyoming attorneys are required to complete 15 hours of CLE each year. At least 2 hours must be in the area of Ethics or Professional Responsibility. Attorneys must earn the required MCLE credits by December 31st and report by January 15th each year.

Attorneys may carry over any additional CLE credits for up to 2 years.

Newly Admitted Attorneys

Newly admitted Wyoming attorneys are exempt from the CLE requirement during the calendar year they are admitted.

Online Courses

Wyoming attorneys must earn at least 9 hours of CLE credit from live events, including live webinars. Attorneys may earn up to 6 CLE credits through online on demand courses.
