North Dakota CLE Requirements
Attorney Requirements
North Dakota attorneys are required to complete 45 hours of CLE every 3 years. At least 3 hours must be in the area of Ethics or Professional Responsibility. Attorneys must earn the required MCLE credits by June 30th in the year of their reporting period.
Attorneys may carry over a maximum of 15 hours to the next reporting period. No ethics hours may be carried over.
Online Courses
North Dakota attorneys must earn at least 30 CLE hours from live events, including webinars. Attorneys may earn up to 15 CLE hours through online on demand courses.
