Montana CLE Requirements

Attorney Requirements

Montana attorneys are required to complete 15 hours of CLE each year. At least 2 hours must be in the area of Ethics. Attorneys must earn the required MCLE credits by March 31st and report by April 1st each year.

Attorneys may carryover up to 30 hours of CLE credit for up to 2 years.

Online Courses

Montana attorneys must earn at least 10 CLE credits through in person events and live webinars. Attorneys may earn up to 5 hours of CLE through online on demand courses.
